The USC Black Alumni Association (BAA) Recruitment and Retention Committee seeks to maintain an equitable representation of highly qualified African American students at the University of Southern California through partnerships with the USC Office of Admissions. The Recruitment and Retention Committee hosts the “Welcome to the Trojan Family Pinning and Affirmation Ceremony” in the Fall and coordinates the “Admitted Students Reception”, “Multicultural Breakfast” and additional USC African American cultural events in the Spring.
Recruitment and Retention Committee events include but are not limited to:
PINNING & AFFIRMATION CEREMONY
Committee members and other USC BAA Alumni share the powerful USC African American legacy, illustrating to new students support available to them and encouraging them to add their own accomplishments and endeavors to the Trojan Family heritage.
ADMITTED STUDENTS RECEPTION
Committee members and other USC BAA Alumni meet and speak with newly admitted students and families in an intimate setting to share USC experiences and answer questions.
MULTICULTURAL BREAKFAST
Committee members and other USC BAA Alumni, join the USC Admissions Office for an admitted students breakfast and campus tours.
