Discovery and innovation are flourishing at USC, enhancing the way we live now - and creating a better tomorrow

"Big Data" is on track to become the dominant trend in the rapidly growing business intelligence industry. In fact, some experts believe that its analytics could transform the business landscape as we know it. But how do you harness this potential?

The Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and the Viterbi School of Engineering are creating technology to analyze massive amounts of data generated from the Internet and electronic devices, to understand trends in opinions, choices and future directions. During the 2012 presidential election, The Wall Street Journal highlighted the work of the USC Annenberg Lab (AIL) in the article "The Strange Science of Translating Sarcasm Online."

Join us to hear about AIL's cutting-edge work in "Big Data" and network with fellow Trojans and friends.
