Whether youre brand new to USC Lambda or have been a longstanding member, there are many ways to get involved with your LGBT alumni association. Check out the opportunities below and get connected!
How Do I Get Involved?
USC Lambda is a volunteer-driven organization. Every event, scholarship and program is the result of many Trojans giving of their time and energy. As a volunteer, the connection with fellow alumni and current students is unmatched and the rewards are enumerable.
There are volunteer opportunities in the following areas:
- Communications Getting the word out to alumni and the broader community
- Development Cultivating sponsors and donors for our scholarship endowments
- Events Planning and executing events, from Homecoming to our Film Festival
- Member Outreach Connecting with, engaging and involving alumni
- Mentorship Guiding current students in their professional pursuits
- Scholarships Providing awards to students who support LGBT issues

As a nonprofit organization, USC Lambda relies on your support for scholarships and operations. Any gift you can make is appreciated, and we can tailor a giving plan to fit your needs. Or join our Patron Program to receive exclusive benefits while you support USC Lambda.
USC students dedicated to LGBT issues can apply for USC Lambda scholarships! Applications are available on our website starting in November of each year, and are due the following February. Awardees will be notified in April.
Just come to one of our events! There will always be representatives present to answer all your USC Lambda questions. Or, if youd like to be involved in planning an event or collaborating with USC Lambda on an event, just email us at lambda@alumnicenter.usc.edu.
