Get engaged with the USC LGBT family, no matter where life takes you. For 23 years, the USC Lambda LGBT Alumni Association has been connecting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and ally Trojans to each other and the university via professional, social and service opportunities. And, to foster the next generation of alumni, USC Lambda has awarded more than $400,000 to USC students committed to LGBT issues. Make USC Lambda a part of your life as we build a legacy of pride for decades to come. We're all family here.
Started nine years ago as a small scholarship fundraiser by running group LA Frontrunners, the Don Thompson LGBT Film Festival has blossomed into a USC Lambda signature event celebrating shorts by USC’s alumni & student LGBT and Ally filmmakers. Proceeds from the festival benefit the Don Thompson Scholarship in Cinematic Arts.
USC approves gender-neutral housing
USC has officially announced their decision to offer gender neutral housing for students both on and off campus, effective fall 2015. Last spring, a group of students joined forces with the Queer and Ally Student Assembly and Undergraduate Student Government to pass a resolution proposing this idea, which was later approved by the university in August 2015.
